Applique' Apron Skirt and Beginner Sewing Patterns!

If you are a "beginner" sewer and this is your first time at this sewing blog then Welcome! All of my sewing patterns are designed with the beginner in mind. Have fun while here getting inspired by the awesome Mommy and GrandMommy creations and let me know if you have any questions!

This will be one long post of several sewing projects! You will see some Applique' Apron Skirt pictures, one of my sewing projects, and some awesome customer creations!! First, above are some of the test photos of the Applique' Apron Skirt that was done last week. Look how cute these little girls are!! The skirts were done without applique' and they still look so cute! Thanks, J and G!!

Below is a picture of a Twirl SKORT Skirt that went to our local AllBrands for showcase. It definitely made me want to sew the girls some! The fabric is from AllBrands!

And here is Grace wearing one of my favorite Scoop Neck Dress Tops (fabric from Jennifer Paganelli Bell Bottoms fabric collection)! I had a collared white undershirt that I paired with it to go to church and it just looked so sweet and dainty! So yesterday morning each of my daughters at home had their Scoop Neck Dress Tops on and we picked up my oldest daughter and my two Grandbabies for church and Heidi (my oldest daughter) had their cherry Scoop Neck Dress Tops on that I made them! I wish I had a picture of all of them. It touched my heart to see all the girls in something I made for them! I am sure y'all feel the same way when your little ones wear your creation!! That is simply a blessing!!

And then we have some awesome Mommy creations!! The first is from one of the giveaway winners. She used SewSensible's Scoop Neck Dress Tops sewing pattern. Here is what this awesome Mommy said, "I just wanted to let you know that I finally got a chance to sew one of the patterns I won. I tried the scoop neck dress and it turned out really cute. It was so easy. I am definitely a beginner when it comes to sewing. Thanks again!, J" Thanks so much, J, for blessing me with these pictures!! Your daughter is so cute and looks great in your custom work!!

Here is another awesome Mommy creation using SewSensible's FAITH Double Layer Dress Top sewing pattern and Boutique Bottoms sewing pattern. Here is what this Mommy said, "Hi, Aimee, The patterns were easy to follow. This is our daughter in your double layer top and bottoms. I wanted the top to be longer, like a dress, so I used the next size up for length, only. The straps are in cotton, but the bottoms and top are in cozy winter flannel!!! With the temperatures dropping, I wanted a toasty fabric to keep her little legs warm. Thank you" Thank you, R, for these awesome pictures of your sweet adorable little girl and your custom Mommy outfit!! Awesome!!
