Here is an awesome Mommy creation using SewSensible Twirl SKORT sewing pattern (just a fun modest skort with a twirl twist!! This Mommy also made a matching applique tee to match! Here is what she said, "I made her a little matching applique shirt with an "A" on it. She absolutely LOVES this outfit, and so do I! Thanks so much!!! L" Thank you so much, L, for sending me your creation! It is beautiful and your sweet daughter is precious!

We were able to take some fun family pictures last week (I think I already mentioned this but it is still in my mind)! I am a stressed out crazy Mommy when it comes to try and get everybody to be in a good mood and do their part for pictures. Well, again this year..... it is just not reality for us with small children!!!!! We encountered three meltdowns from three different children at three different times! And then our six year old son had a very loose tooth that made him have this funny weird smile FOR ALMOST ALL OUR PICTURES!! It's ok though..... my husband reminded me we will have many more years for family pictures and that made me feel a little better! The joys of Motherhood! Life is good! May your Thanksgiving holidays be abundantly blessed!

You can make your very own ..... Scoop Neck Dress Top! Designed with the beginner in mind. It is very easy to sew while having that “boutique” look! It is a fun and dainty design with options of adding rick rack accents, ruffles, short or long sleeves with or with-out elastic hem and an optional fabric flower that is removable! No buttons and no zippers! Dainty and Fun to make! Pair it up with SewSensible’s Boutique Bottoms for one amazing outfit! Great for the beginner to the advanced sewer! Easy to follow step-by-step instructions along with lots of graphics to guide you through each step! It is simple enough to create an awesome custom gift for your niece or granddaughter and makes a great canvas for appliqué or embroidery designs!
There are two places to purchase the downloadable pattern: You Can Make This (it should be up in a couple days at YCMT) and my Etsy shop. This pattern is available for download only. I have submitted the revisions to YCMT so if you purchased from YCMT you will be able to go to your library and download the revisions. If you purchased from me then you may email me and I will send you the revisions. I will need your email and if possible the month you purchased the pattern. I believe you will love the revisions and as always the pattern is designed for beginners so if you have never tried sleeves then please know these are easy!!!!!!!!!!!! smile smile!!
The physical pattern will be ready in December but I do not know the exact date. I will update as soon as I know a closer date!

For the past several years I have had 100's and 100's of emails, comments, and feedback from first time Mommy sew-ers and beginner sew-ers write me with lots of excitement about sewing their daughter an outfit and loving the ease of SewSensible patterns!! It has truly been one of my greatest joys with SewSensible: to read your emails, comments, and feedback and see the pictures of your loved ones in the outfits you created! I want to thank all of you who have sent in your creations! You not only have brought me great joy but you have inspired many many other Moms to try their hands at sewing!! Please don't stop sending me your creations!! They make my sewing blog such a wonderful place to visit and if you don't mind please help me spread the word to other Moms, GrandMoms, and Aunts too about SewSensible Children's Boutique Sewing Patterns!! :) If you have a blog or website, please consider grabbing my SewSensible logo button!! And thanks to so many of you for purchasing SewSensible patterns! I am in the process of getting the revisions complete with the Scoop Neck Dress Top with long/short sleeve options. And look for more patterns to come in 2010!!!!!
And I have to thank United Notions and Fabrics, Creative Smocking, and Petersen-Arne for giving me an opportunity with them. Thank you!!

Here is an awesome Mommy creation I had in my inbox since last May!!!!! How could I have overlooked this one!! I'll blame it on having eight children. It is an easy excuse for me but I know it can only work for so long LOL ;) This Mommy used SewSensible Simple Sunday Dress sewing pattern and here is what this Mommy said, "Hi, I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed working from your pattern instructions. I've not been sewing long and so everything was very easy to follow. I wanted to send you a couple photo's of the finished product. I actually changed the pattern just a bit (bigger bow in back and band at bottom ) :o) God Bless! Hope you enjoy the pictures! :o), T"
Scoop Neck Dress Top Revisions: I am finished with the revisions and will be sending them to the testers on Sunday. As soon as I get feed back from the tester I will replace the original scoop neck dress top and also send this one to become my next physical pattern! Keep watching!!
