FAITH Double Layer Dress Top Sewing Pattern and New Sewing Pattern!

Here is my sweet sweet niece, Annalyce, modeling her new FAITH Double Layer Dress Top! I made a change to the FAITH dress top (again!) I know!! The one for sale right now is just fine but the size 6m-9m did not have enough room to gather so I changed that and I got rid of the curve on the top layer bottom. If you have FAITH you know what I am talking about. If you don't, don't worry about it if you are looking to buy it. FAITH will still come out looking adorable! I just did not like sewing that curve. The fabric is Jennifer Paganelli Pretty Please! Just a beautiful fabric design! As soon as I get the new pattern on paper for downloadable, you can email me and I will send you the revised copy! Also, do you want to get that cute looking ruffle on the top band of FAITH? All you need to do is instead of a 1/4" seam for first topband topstitch, you will instead go down 1" and make your first top band topstitch. Just make sure before you do your second topstitch that you have enough room for your size elastic which will be either 3/4" or 1". Either work great!!

Oh!! also for a change up of FAITH, do you know you can make a FAITH double layer skirt!!!!! How awesome is that! All you do is leave off the straps and loops and when it is time to add the elastic, just measure your loved ones waist instead and voila! You have a precious double layer skirt!!!!!

Yesterday I was able to draw up FAITH on the big paper and get it ready for press!! How exciting! I will be sending three patterns to press next week: Boutique Dress Top, Boutique Bottoms, and FAITH. I also will be working on the new sewing pattern: Reversible Pleated Dress Top. I am trying very hard to have this one released by the end of May but it may be mid June! As soon as this one is done, it will also go to press. I have the direction graphics done, now to go add the verbage. I also have a lot of great tester pictures from the awesome testers that took their time to test the new directions of the three patterns going to press. I will hopefully put those up in the coming week!!

Great and Exciting news!!: I will be at the next Quilt Market!! Ok, not me physically but my patterns will be!!!!! This is so exciting! I'll give more details midMay!

Today is Tommy's work family picnic and tball! I have also started twittering. Well, I have been twittering but just decided to add SewSensible Twitter. Everything sounds awesome as usual! Thanks for letting us be a guinea pig for you on a sew-out last time!
I am following you now on Twitter! I also do something called Plurk. It's like Twitter, but different, easier to talk to others I think!
Anyway, just wanted to say hey!

wow!! lots of great news!! congrats on going to market.

one of the things i love most about the Faith", it's so versatile. leave off the loops and straps, you've got a skirt, extend the middle length a few inches you have a dress!

i can't wait to see what you design next!! :)
