I was looking through files on my computer and found it recently. My daughter was so excited and wanted me to make her a pair of pants...so much so that she was decided she wanted to spend a little of her birthday money on some fabric that she picked out. Tonight I made the bottoms for the first time. They turned out so stinking cute! She danced around the house for the longest time. :- I could barely get her to stand still long enough to take her picture. I am working on a very simple Beginner's Market Tote sewing tutorial. This is something quick to make for beginner's while building your confidence as you are learning to sew! Remember, beginner sewers, allow yourself to make mistakes and not get so frustrated. I can't stress how the times I made mistakes (and there were lots!!!!! and I still do) are the very times I learned something new or learned how to do it better. Keep going! You are doing great!!

This particular tote is not only a great take along to your favorite farmer's market but could also be a great tote to make for your next beach trip. You could also use this easy tutorial to teach your daughter to sew. There is nothing like sharing your love of sewing with your loved ones :) This tutorial should be up by the end of the week.
