Sewing Pattern!
My Sewing Pattern All in One is submitted!! I am waiting for them to test the pattern and whatever else they need to do! I find myself checking my email everyday several times a day just to see if they emailed me back. (I just sent it in about 4 days ago!) I know, I know, I need some patience!!!!! haha You would think I would have some with eight children, huh!

Sewing Pattern Done!
I have finally finished putting my All in One sewing pattern eBook on PDF!! A total of 53 pages and pages and pages of pictures. I am in the process of letting someone test it right now and then I will submit it to You Can Make This!! This has been a very fun project and more time consuming than I anticipated but well worth it! After you submit your manuscript, it takes about 2 weeks for it to be on the site!

Second one done!
The second skirt is done. Tonight I plan to finish the third one. I don't have time to applique something on the shirt so I will not be doing that for these outfits.

The Ballerina Skirt!
I got Grace to try on her ballerina skirt this morning and when I told her she could take it off she looked at me and said, "No, I want to wear it!" Yay!! That's what I like to hear after I make my girls something! It is so much fun to sew for them!!

Another All in One!
This is another All in One with an optional ruffle at the top and an initial applique. The applique should have been higher.

Skirt Sewing Project!
I am sewing my very first skirt! I had purchased some ballerina fabric a while back because Rose and Grace love ballerinas and tutus! I didn't really know if I was going to make a dress top with it or what. I have been wanting to make a skirt and decided that is what I was going to do! This was a harder and more time consuming project than I thought (Sorry to you, My Man! He was tending to the toddlers and baby while I sat determined at the table to finish a skirt!) but I did it and I am looking forward to making more skirts for my daughters! I now know "what not to do". I bought some white tees so that I can applique something on the front to match the skirt. I'll have to get one of the girls to try it on tomorrow so that I can take a picture!

All in One Pattern Cover!
Slowly but surely I am accomplishing the eBook project! This morning I finished the cover to the All in One pattern. My next step is to layout the step by step directions along with the step by step pictures. I hope to have this completed in the next three weeks. I am enjoying this so much! I also ordered the fabric that I will use for my next eBooks: my Dress Top Pattern with ruffle!, my Boutique Bottoms, and my Drawstring Purse/Tote! I'll keep you posted!

front side view
back viewMy Mom came over today to watch the toddlers while I started the eBook project on my All in One pattern I created! THANKS, MOM!! I am so excited about this new venture! This is a picture of the almost finished project. I still am going to make a head band to match the outfit and I think I am going to put a flower on the front.

All in One with Ruffles!
I finally made one with ruffles! Cute Cute!!! You can definitely get more creative and add a coordinating fabric for the ruffle. This is actually a 5/6 size and my 4 year old is wearing it! It's all in the gathering of the back! This is one of those patterns that they can actually grow into and wear for a couple of years! Talk about sew sensible!! ha ha

White pant All in One!

Here is my All in One pattern again! The bows are a little too big for this size and I made this one as a pant all in one instead of a short/capri all in one with no ruffles. This pattern is so easy! I just need to fine tune a couple more details with the pattern and it is finished and ready for a PDF!! How exciting!!

Running over some "bumps"
I made another one of my All in One outfits. I am running into some bumps with this one! But that is not going to stop me! Praise God!! I am putting this aside to make my girls a white halter dress top to go with the white pants I made them last month. I want to take a picture of all the children in white! Those pics always come out so nice especially the sepia ones!

Designing a Pattern!
I have the SEWING BUG!!!!! This morning I have been designing and creating an All in One Outfit! This is my third time sewing one this morning. I am, of course, breaking a lot of the "sewing rules" but it came out so cute!! The details are not complete but pretty close. The back is elastic around the back and the front is a halter style. And the best part about this outfit is that it takes less than an hour to make and I have made it super easy! I hope to fine tune it this weekend and show another picture of a print fabric and I am going to add some ruffles at the bottom of the pants.

My Next Project!
My next project is to actually put my dress top pattern on a PDF and sell it on ebay and or put it on YCMT! This is totally inspired by my friend, Nanette, who has her Annette dress pattern for sale on You Can Make This!
There are a couple other patterns I would like to design and sell: my drawstring purse/tote/diaperbag, and two more children's clothing items that I have been thinking about. I just need to make the time to do this right!

Yay, Nanette!!
My friend Nanette from Nanoo Designs has her Annette dress pattern on
I have posted about this pattern before and love it! It is so easy to make and it is reversible! And you can easily add your personal touches to make it your child's own style!
Little tidbit: My daughter, Rose, is one of the models!! Click link above and go to What's New. The picture above is not the dress. This is just the link to You Can Make This!

Busy Sewing!
I have been busy sewing! Friday night I went to my sewing group! I love that group. We are small but it is so fun to connect with others who have your interest! Thanks, Nanette!!
I started these dresses Friday night and finished four of them Saturday morning. I designed this pattern and it is SUPER EASY and SUPER CUTE!! I am thinking about creating an eBook of this pattern and selling it on ebay. We will see! My friend, Nanette, has an eBook coming soon to You Can Make This! (banner at top or to the right sidebar). Nanette's is the Annette dress pattern that I use all the time! Super Easy and Super Cute, too!!
Today, I will start the pants.
