You can definitely expect to see these Embroidery Applique' Designs on my next sewing patterns!! :)
Here is a great Mommy custom creation using SewSensible's Boutique Dress Top and Boutique Bottoms for Young Girls! Too cute! Here is what this Mommy said,
"Hi Aimee', I just wanted to thank you for making such a wonderful pattern! This was super easy to understand and your pictures helped tremendously. I was worried because I've never done ruffles before (no foot), and your advice about sewing two basting rows was a true Godsend! I will definitely be back for more patterns, in the meantime, here's my cutie modeling this afternoon! God Bless, M"
Thanks so much, M, for the picture and your kind words. Your daughter looks like a princess in her new outfit! :)

I had plans to work on my next pattern this week but my youngest has a stomach bug right now. We are following him around with a bowl in hopes he will throw up in it. :)

SewSensible's FAITH Double Layer Dress Top Sewing Pattern
Here is what this awesome Mommy said, "I tried my very first official PATTERN last night and it turned out AMAZING!!!!!!!! I just wanted to jump up and down (at 3am!) and wake up L so she could try it on! I didn’t! :) Instead, I laid it out in her room with a cute pair of capri jeans and she put it on the second she woke up this morning. I got the pattern online from a wonderful website called Sew Sensible. Loved, loved, loved her instructions!"
Thanks, J, for letting me post your pictures of your beautiful daughter and your awesome creation! And thanks for the kind words!

The Zoo Day is my newest design. I got the idea for this one because we go to the zoo a lot! I put an applique' snowcone in the background that can be changed with different coordinating fabrics. It will be available soon. The Applique Puppy is available. For the puppy, I changed the thread color from a white dog to a brown dog. It came out so cute!
Look for both of these designs on my upcoming sewing patterns! I will be starting these next week! All of my Embroidery Designs are available at SewSensible's Etsy shop. As soon as I figure out instant download on my website, they will be available there. The words are not part of the design. I added those.

Look at this little princess modeling her Mommies custom FAITH Double Layer Dress Top! I love the fabric choice! Thanks so much, C, for blessing me with these photos and such kind words! I especially like the picture of the back of FAITH. It is such a dainty sweet look!
Here is what this Mommy said, " Hi Aimee, here is the other picture of the dress I made for my daughter using your wonderful pattern. We get lots of compliments on it, and she loves to wear it all the time. She'd sleep in it if I let her! lol. "
Every now and then I receive a question from one of you about my patterns. I have decided to start posting these questions in hope that they will help others as well. Most of my customers are first time sewing Mommies! With that comes some basic questions that some may feel is too simple to ask. I encourage all of you, if you have a question regarding my patterns, please email me. I will also post the question and answer on this blog. I will not use your name.
One question I received recently was this: Aimee', I made the Twirl SKORT but the bottoms are so much longer than the skirt. What did I do? This is very simple to correct. When you sew the top band and skirt panel to the bottoms and turn it on the outside, make sure you don't turn it where the top band is folded in half. The pattern requires you to turn all of the top band on the right side. This will make the skirt panel fall right above the Bottoms ruffle!

Love it!! Here is an awesome Mommy creation using SewSensible's Twirl SKORT Sewing Pattern! This pattern continues to be my favorite just because it is so girly but can be worn during the roughest play days!! Here is what this Mommy said,
"My daughter is 5 and starting kindergarten this month. This summer all she would wear is skorts. They are hard to find in a length that is not really short. Your pattern is perfect. That is until she out grows it. lol. I wanted to show you pictures of completed skorts I did from your pattern. And oh my gosh the pattern was so easy to follow and quick too. Thanks again."
Thank you so much for blessing me with these pictures and for your kind words! Your daughter is beautiful and I just love her gorgeous red hair!!

I also have my latest sewing patterns for Tweens and Teens. The Boutique Dress Top is one of them! They are both very simple to sew. It's SEW simple your tween/teen daughter or grand daughter can make her own! And both make for a great canvas for your embroidery/applique designs!
