Sewing Projects!

I went to Hancock Fabric today and bought enough fabric for all my upcoming sewing projects. Thanks, Mom, for watching the children while I escaped to fabric land!
Here is my ribbon that I ordered.

One of my daughters has teacher appreciation week in May. She has three teachers so I decided to make them each a purse. This is what I will use. The flip flop will be main and the other will be the lining and the purse handle.

Now this print fabric actually coordinates with the flip flop fabric so this will be the reverse of the top/dress. The solid print is actually more pink. This picture does not show the correct color. This will be the pants that will match both sides of the reversible dress! Cute, cute! And then I will make some bows to match.

Cute fabric. I haven't been to Hancocks in awhile. I'll have to check it out.

Looking forward to seeing the finished project! Go to my blog and see the little scripture tags I added. There is a cute one on adoption. I am sure you will want to add to your other blog!

One other thing, did you receive a 2nd email from CWO before you were added to the list? I do not see that I am on the list yet and just wasn't sure. I added their link from when I signed up and not from the email. How did you do it? Thanks for the help!

My computer has been down all day! What's a busy Mom to do about not releasing some Mommy stress on my blogs!! ha ha

Nanette, did you register on the Christian Women Online yet?
Melodye, I am about to go check on the scripture. And, yes, I did received a second email from CWO.

The gods intent to punish our excess and waste of resources as our lifestyle, provided by sourced products in from foreign countries without enviornmental regulations, are treating Planet Earth like a toxic cesspool, one we have to remain in, continually reincarnated until we fix our ever-intensifying disfavor and finally ascend with our purity and innocence.

The gods deliberately eliminated the system of orphanages in this country in favor of a micro-manageable foster care system. Whereas these state-funded facilities would have utilized professionals in child education to establish a child rearing program instead the gods place these disfavored children in regulation and oversight-free enviornments where they can utilize disfavor to manage these children and create disfunction, under the guise of “earning” their way into “heaven”.

I have spoken YEARS ago about the importance of dolls to the favored gender, how it would teach them nurturing, love, compassion. In the 50s, with the advent of a new doll named Barbie, this shifted from positive values to more of an idealized values system based on superficial values like appearance.
They need to change the Man in the Moon clue to appear more demonic.

Listen to me now and hear me later, NO XTIAN WILL EVER ASCEND INTO HEAVEN.
Anyone who espouses typical Christian values as it reads in the xtian bible, ie believes Jesus is a god, have fallen for temptation and will be prevented from ascending until they fix this new problem they adopted.
